30-Day Thigh Slimming Challenge-Extended
This post is well over due as I finished the Blogilates 30-Day Thigh Slimming Challenge extended 3 month version a while back but haven’t gotten around to writing about it. I started this challenge at the end of June and after the 30 days, I was so pleased with the results that I decided to keep going and do it for 90 days. At Day 31, I didn’t want to start at Day 1 again so I started at Day 23 (15 reps per exercise) and followed the calendar to the end. I did the same thing with month 3. I had some friends join me for months 2 and 3 which was very motivational and helped me get through the entire 90 Days.
By the end of the 90 Days, I was very happy with my results. The most dramatic difference was in the first 30 days visually. However, I continued to lose inches and lost another 1/4 of an inch per thigh on the 3rd month for a total of 1/2 an inch per thigh. I think the reason I could see the most change the first month was because the exercises helped tighten the muscles and change their shape.
I didn’t do my light walking exercise (25 minutes) as much in the 3rd month but it didn’t seem to have much of an effect on my results, if any. My diet is usually healthy and I was consistent throughout. That was probably a key factor since I firmly believe that you could undo any exercise you do with what you eat.
Would I recommend this excercise? Most definitely! It has been about a month and a half since I finished this and I completely stopped doing the exercises. My thighs suffered, going back up 1/2 an inch per thigh. My new challenge is going to be to mix it up so I can continue to do it without getting bored.
This month, I started a walking and running challenge which is taking up all my exercising effort but once I am back in shape with running, I’m going to work in this thigh challenge back into my routine.
